Our research group study a variety of problems in the coal geology field related to New Geo-energy and Geological Environment and our core focuses are high-efficiency prospect and exploitation of coal-bearing unconventional gas, CO₂ geological storage and greenhouse gas emission reduction in coal mine, high-efficiency prospect and exploitation of geothermal resources, environmental protection and restoration in coal mining field. The prior missions of our team are concentrated academic, cultivating talents, pursuing excellence, serving the community. We are dedicated to gather and cooperate with like-minded people with common academic interests. With collective wisdom and sweat, we will overcome difficulties, develop and innovate, and do our part for the national education and scientific-technological development. The world's scientific and technological progress is rapidly changing with each passing day. The deep international cooperation and exchanges keep us in sync with the research work of our foreign colleagues. We also cooperate closely with domestic colleagues in the coal, oil and gas geology-related company, institute and university, and strive to build a stage for the better development of young talents. We warmly welcome young talents to join our team to work, conduct postdoctoral research, study for doctor's degree and master's degree in China University of Mining and Technology. We also look forward to cooperating with potential geologists at home and abroad for exploring new fields in geological energy and environment.
