Several engineering tests of stress-relief CBM well and gob gas well have been carried out in Huainan mining area and Hegang mine area, based on surface well extraction technology. The engineering test results were good.
Well design for stress-relief CBM wells in Huainan mining area. Both of the wells have good productive result. Their production time larger than 100 days, and gas production for signal well larger than 50×105 m3
Gob gas well in Hegang mine. The gob gas well was extracting for 393 hours. Its average gas production is 3.8×104 m3/d, average methane production is 15×104 m3/d, accumulation of gas production is 64.84×104 m3, methane production is 23.01×104 m3, and methane concentration is 45 %-27 %
