AN ANALOGUE EXPERIMENTAL SYSTEM FOR TECTONICALLY DEFORMED COAL IN-SITU COALBED METHANE RECOVERY BY HORIZONTAL WELL CAVERN COMPLETION AND SRESS RELIEF(41727801)

Broadly developed tectonically deformed coals(TDC) and their aboundant hosted CBM resource are remarkable characteristics concerning coal and CBM resources in China. However, applying current CBM exploration and development technology based on gas exploitation theory of rewatering-depressure-desorption can not realize efficient recovery of CBM in TDC. R&D of the instrument system will aim to break down technology bottleneck of TDC CBM development and complement technology innovation of coal-gas total mining by means of surface wells in China, found on theoretical innovation of horizontal well cavern completion-stress relief-gas desorption-gas production, integrate and intersect multiple subjects such as CBM Geology, CBM Engineering, Drilling Engineering, Petroleum Development Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Instrument Science and Technology, apply methods of instrument systematical design, supporting experiments and tests and numerical simulation, focus on 6 critical techniques, including coal measure strata architecture analogue and reconstruction, reciprocated drilling and reaming with horizontal well, horizontal well cavern stimulation for stress relief and permeability enhancement, vertical well lifting of mixture composed of water, gas and dense coal fines, gas-water-coal fine efficient separation and collection and device information and control, consequently manufacture and machine corresponding 6 subsystems and integrate them into an original instrument system for researches. The system function orientation is embodiment and test platform for CBM exploration and development major theoretical and technological innovation as well as an indispensable instrument system to manufacture coming equipment for TDC CBM development.

KEY TECHNOLOGIES OF CO2 ENHANCED COALBED METHANE(2018TFB0605600)

According to the 2018 special project application guidelines for clean and efficient utilization of coal and new energy-saving technologies, the realization of industrialization based on carbon dioxide flooding of coalbed methane has the dual benefits of improving the utilization of clean energy from coalbed methane and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, economy and the environment. At present, the mechanism of pore permeability changes and the main control factors are not well understood during the carbon dioxide flooding of coalbed methane, and the modelling technology of carbon dioxide flooding coalbed methane continuity process, carbon dioxide flooding coalbed methane injection and production technology, and carbon dioxide injection into coalbed methane Key technologies such as transport monitoring technology, and production gas carbon dioxide / methane separation and recovery technologies are not yet perfect, so the research content of this project is proposed. Aiming at the actual needs of effectively burying carbon dioxide in the coal seam and injecting carbon dioxide to effectively replace methane to increase the coalbed methane recovery rate, the pore permeability change law and main controlling factors in the process of carbon dioxide flooding of coalbed methane are revealed, and deep coal seams with different geological adaptability are integrated to form The technology system for CO2 flooding of coalbed methane in well groups was developed to form equipment / devices with independent intellectual property rights. The demonstration demonstration application evaluation will promote the industrialization of CO2 flooding of coalbed methane.

The project is expected to not only achieve original innovations in the basic theoretical research of carbon dioxide flooding of coalbed methane, but also make breakthroughs in key technologies of carbon dioxide flooding of coalbed methane. It is expected to independently develop 4 sets of equipment / devices, form 8 common key technologies, and 1 new Materials, applied for 30 national patents, published 33 high-quality academic papers, and integrated the formation of deep-seated wells with carbon dioxide and coalbed methane technology system, which can effectively promote the industrialization of carbon dioxide in China.
