At the first section, Dr. Durucan, Dr. Ma and Dr. Krooss respectively made an oral presentation titled “Numerical Modelling and Prediction of Abandoned Mine Methane Recovery: Field Application at the Saar Coalfield, Germany”, “Some recent advances in digital core analysis of tight rocks and fluid flow modelling at pore scales” and “Unconventional Gas Research in Europe - Past & Present”. After each presentation, our group members hold a discussion with presenter and other international professors. At the second section, Prof. Sang Shuxun, Dr. Liu Shiqi and Dr. Ashutosh Tripathpy also made their talks which are related to their recent studies progresses and academic frontiers of unconventional reservoirs geology and development. A further cooperation intention on enhanced coalbed methane recovery and emission reduction had been achieved between our group and above foreign professors.
