Dr. Huazhou Huang visited the （Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation, CSIRO） from 2018.12 to 2019.12. He’ve learned about the research and development of unconventional oil and gas in Australia, and participated in the seminar of unconventional oil and gas group, introduced and discussed his research in China to the colleagues in CSIRO, learned about the sample preparation device and its development principles for diffusion-seepage test, and mastered the diffusion-seepage test.

Dr. Changjiang Liu visited the University of Edinburgh, UK from 2018.11 to 2019.11.During the visiting, we co-published 2 peer-reviewed scientific papers, co-applied funding. He was also involved in supervisor the PhD candidates and their projects.
Dr. Ran Wang went to the Department of Geology & Geological Engineering of Colorado School of Mines for a one-year as a visiting scholar from September 2019. I learned advanced concepts and technologies in undergraduate / graduate teaching in the Department of Geology and Geological Engineering; at the same time, actively participated in The research project of the foreign mentor has been completed, and he is currently undertaking research work on Molecular and Isotopic Characteristics of Global Occurrences of Coalbed Gases.

Between 2017.11 to 2018.11,supported by the Chinese Scholarship Council (CSC), Dr.Shiqi Liu worked as a visiting scholar in Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, UK for one year. He worked on the subject of multi-scale pore-space characterization of coal and its application under the supervision of Dr Jingsheng Ma. Dr. Liu successful complete his research in Heriot-Watt University, and published 4 SCI papers, 2 papers in in Chinese Core Journals, and 2 international conference papers.
